MADRID

MADRID

The Spanish are famous for their work-life balance. The lay out of the Spanish capital city will allow that concept to influence your own travel-life balance. Present day Madrid features the most walkable and pedestrian friendly corazon of any major European city. You won’t feel self-conscious breaking out the double-wide stroller in central Madrid. You can walk from the incredibly intact Royal Palace to the genteel El Retiro Park (a distance of 2.5 miles) mainly utilizing pedestrian zones (only crossing two major roads). Nearly every popular point of interest spurs from this transverse route. With a sprinkling of plazas and playgrounds along the way, Madrid offers the family ample opportunity to splice in some down time with a busy touring itinerary.
